45th Annual Peak Fest 2026

Join the fun at Apex Town Hall Campus for the 45th PeakFest.

 The festival hours are 9 am- 4 pm

​This annual event is planned & facilitated by the Apex Festival Commission. It is not a Town of Apex hosted event.

History:

What started as a small pop up event in a church parking lot in 1980, continues today as a celebration of community. Our footprint is larger, more artisans, musicians, dancers, entertainers & sponsors; but the heart remains the same, Attendees experience a full day of activities that showcase why Apex is the Peak of Good Living. 

Every year the number of participants & attendees grows, bringing 45,000 visitors. The festival is always the first Saturday in May. There is free entertainment throughout the day, plus food trucks & vendors within the festival footprint. 
 

The Town of Apex features a booth with every department to answer questions & share the valuable work behind the scenes that keeps the Peak running smoothly all year.

The business & non-profit sponsors, along with featured artists participating in the festival help to cover our operational cost and allow the commission to award grants back in the community. Make plans to engage with every participant!

We encourage you to visit the Downtown Apex retailers, restaurants, pubs & breweries before or after attending the festival.  Local businesses & PeakFest participants can't wait for you to discover what they have to offer.
